About Pafos (Paphos)

Pafos is situated to the southwest coast of the island of Cyprus, it is sheltered to the north by the Troodos mountains and as such Pafos enjoys the very best of all the year round climate of the Mediterranean.

Pafos is divided into two major areas – Ktima or Pafos Town, on the sea terrace, this is the main residential district.  –Kato Pafos, by the sea is build around the beautiful old harbor with its Byzantine castle, the Tombs of the Kings, Temple of Aphrodite and the House of Dionysus.

This part of the Island is known to  have a perfect location with its beautiful natural landscape in the hills where you can visit the old traditional stone built villages welcomed with a warm and hospitable smile for only the local villagers are known for.

In the coastal areas small sandy beaches are on the list of Europe’s cleanest and unspoiled of the Mediterranean Sea and where you can have peaceful and relaxing moments to enjoy and remember.

Pafos again is the right place for entertainment that can suit all tastes and sporting activities for all ages. Starting from Traditional Taverns, Classy Restaurants, Cosy Pubs and Fashionable outdoor Cafés and for a more active life, there is Golfing Horse riding, Cycling, Hiking or even Yachting in the recently completed small marina in Latchi of Polis.
